The diocesan museum of Andria
Among the many diocesan museums that we have had the opportunity to visit, without a shadow of a doubt, the one in Andria is the most beautiful of all so far.
Housed in the Margiotta palace, in the historic center, a few steps from the beautiful churches of the Cathedral and of San Francesco, it is spread over 4 levels, in a reasoned path, capable of enhancing the many valuable pieces housed and, moreover, with the opportunity to also host temporary exhibitions unrelated to the religious theme.
The museum actually consists of 3 distinct locations, each specialized in a theme (the other two are in Minervino and Canosa di Puglia), unfortunately our time allowed us to visit only the one in Andria, which we will tell you about by introducing you to some of the treasures that struck us most.
